Bbq Sauce Recipe Molasses

Question about Arthur Bryant’s BBQ sauce?
I live in the UK so whenever I can get one of my relatives to bring over Arthur Bryant’s sauce from Kansas City it is quite a treat. Anyway, I recently got some and the sauce was a molasses based BBQ sauce. It was sickly sweet, not like the wonderful savoury sauce I remember. What happened? Have they changed the original recipe?
Cracker, I don’t think so. They are doing the same old sauce.
Have you tried Gates, Fiarelli’s or Three Little Pigs from KC?
I think those are unique as well.
