Bbq Apple Crisp Recipe
Need a recipe for salad for a bbq using ingredients I have on hand!?
I’m supposed to make a salad of some kind, I have no money to buy ingredients…this is my idea, I have spaghetti squash, tomatoes, onions, fresh parsley, kale I plan to cook the squash toss it with the other vegetables (probably not the kale) with a vinaigrette made with apple cider vinegar, olive oil & various herbs & spices. Does that sound like it would work? The squash cooks up rather crisp & sweet, that’s why I thought it might work. What do you think?
Sure, but I would grill the tomatoes and onions as well. Let all the ingredients cool and then toss with the dressing. I might try it with the kale, but I would blanch and grill it as well. I would keep the parsley fresh and add it to the dressing.
